Another successful SIBOS for Backbase

We are very excited to be back from Geneva, where we have attended SIBOS 2016.

Four intense days of workshops, conference and open theatre tracks as well as meetings with our customer and prospects.

Our speaking slot on Day 1 featured Jouk Pleiter, Backbase’s CEO and Co-Founder, talking about “The Digital Transformation in Commercial Banking”. The open theatre proved to be too small for the attending audience  – this serves as a confirmation that omni-channel is a topic more and more important for commercial banking.

Also, onsite we have signed a new partnership with The International Bank of Azerbaijan (photo below). The International Bank of Azerbaijan has partnered with Backbase to implement its omni-channel digital banking platform. With the platform, the bank will be able to provide its products and services to customers through multiple channels synchronously, creating a single multimodal touch point.

We are already looking forward to SIBOS 2017 in Toronto, hope to meet you then and there.
